The paintings and prints will be shown at venues throughout Sussex during 2006. The first show exhibited at this years Brighton Festival.
The paintings and prints will form part of the opening exhibition at the new Gallery South in South Street, Eastbourne along with work by acclaimed artists Elda Abramson and Harold Mockford.
The next opportunity to view the work willl be in Brighton at Feist Hedgethorne Accountants in South Road, Preston Park during this year¹s Brighton Festival where we will be affiliated with the Prestonville Trail of Artists Open Houses. In 2004 graphic artist Julian Sutherland-Beatson had two paintings in the style of 1930's travel posters purchased by The Palace of Westminster for The House of Lords. The paintings now form part of their permanent collection.
He has spent the past year working on a series of 12 Sussex images that are a continuation of that work. The paintings are acrylic on box canvas and measure 76cm x 71cm (30² x 24²) and are priced at £1300 each. The images are also available as a limited edition of Giclée prints.
